The State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has issued draft regulations that would allow fracking. This rulebook of proposed regulations is complicated, long and tedious and we, the public, have until January 11 to speak out against these rules.

Governor Cuomo has made no decision yet on whether to permit or prohibit fracking in our state. He said he wants the decision to be based on science and not on emotion!

and leave the message that....These current regulations are inadequate. No amount of regulation and oversight can protect the air, water and public health. Only a ban will protect us!
There are many uninformed and mis-informed state residents who do not understand the detrimental and dire effects of this form of toxic drilling. Can you get this info to them?
